What is Faith Promise?

The Faith Promise pledge is a voluntary financial commitment that is made over and above your normal tithes and offerings. The commitment is made annually, and people commit to either give one amount as a lump sum, or a monthly amount for one year. The money is used exclusively for the outward focus of the church, for example missions, evangelism, community development, orphan care and outreaches.

It is a ‘faith promise’, meaning that it is not dependent on your monthly budget, but rather on what God says to give within the measure of your faith. This has been a culture of Hatfield Christian Church for over 25 years. In 2010 the combined pledge of everyone’s commitment was R5.3 million, and just over 100% of this pledge came in.


Give to Faith Promise

If you are not yet a part of this year’s Faith Promise pledge and would like to be, there are two ways to do so.

  1. Pledge via SMS
    SMS ‘Amount pm’ if you want to make a monthly donation, or ‘Amount once-off’ for a lump sum donation to 083 50 111 60. Someone from the Faith Promise office will contact you.
