  Volunteer opportunities at Hatfield Christian Church and our
            partner ministries

• VIVA Life Celebration Outreach 26 May – Volunteers needed to help with children’s ministry, cooking, facilitation of small groups, data capturing, set-up and security. We also need canned food for this event.
• A ministry focusing on environmental issues within local communities (such as rainwater harvesting, vegetable gardens, recycling and greening parks and schools) is being established. Call us if you are interested in getting involved or learning more.
• The Storehouse - Winter clothing for boys (3-13 years) and girls (5-13 years) and men (small sizes) urgently needed. Donations can be left at Reception.
• Typist - needed to type a document in MS Word.

1. If you have a heart for community outreaches, watch this space or the HCC announcement sheet for various outreach opportunities in 2012. We hope to make frequent opportunities available.
2. If you are willing to commit to regularly assisting our community ministries, you are available on weekdays and willing to travel to ministry venues, please complete the full LaunchPad Questionnaire. There is also need for part-time help from professionals as consultants to the various ministry boards.
3. A prime area of practical involvement on a longer basis (minimum one year) which we advise most of our HCC members to pursue, are the internal church ministries which also need large numbers of volunteers. Most people have time over the weekend and are coming to church in any case. Ministries include C4G, Ushers, Family Care, Media, Baptism, Communion and Hopeline teams (in order of greatest need for volunteers). Most of these ministries will be training new volunteers in early 2012 but we would appreciate you registering with LaunchPad or the ministry itself this year to facilitate their planning.
4. Pastoral teams are often in need of assistance. Express and demonstrate willingness to carry responsibility to your life group leader, shepherd and pastor.
5. If you have a heart for missions, begin by joining a sending cell. LaunchPad can also connect you to mission workshops and leaders.
